Vietnam Grand Discovery is an 18-day journey designed for international travelers who want to experience Vietnam from North to South while placing strong emphasis on the country’s spectacular northern landscapes.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to rest or enjoy an easy evening walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.

After breakfast, explore Hanoi on foot, beginning around Hoan Kiem Lake and continuing through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter. Discover traditional shop houses, local markets, small cafés and everyday street life before enjoying a free afternoon at your own pace.

After breakfast, travel to Halong Bay and board an overnight cruise. Enjoy the spectacular limestone islands and quiet bays from the boat, with light onboard activities available depending on weather and cruise conditions. Dinner is served onboard.

Enjoy the morning scenery on the bay before disembarking and continuing to Ninh Binh. After arrival, take a relaxed walk through rice fields and rural villages, experiencing a quieter side of Northern Vietnam.

Spend the morning exploring the countryside around Ninh Binh. An optional Trang An boat trip can be arranged for guests who wish to experience the limestone landscape from the water. Begin the scenic journey through the Ha Giang highlands, passing dramatic valleys, traditional villages and spectacular mountain viewpoints. The day focuses on landscapes and local life rather than ticketed attractions.

Continue through the karst landscapes around Dong Van before gradually returning towards Ha Giang. In the evening, board an overnight sleeper bus to Hanoi. This long-distance overnight journey helps optimize both time and accommodation costs.

Arrive in Hanoi at around 04:00 after the overnight sleeper bus. Have a short rest and freshen up at a centrally located hostel before taking a domestic flight to Hue. In the afternoon, visit Thien Mu Pagoda and enjoy the peaceful riverside setting while watching the sunset, then continue to Quoc Hoc Hue, one of the city’s most beautiful historic landmarks, before returning to the hotel.

Visit Hue Imperial City, the signature historical attraction of the former imperial capital. Continue to Quoc Hoc Hue, Dong Ba Market and Thien Mu Pagoda, all of which provide a strong introduction to Hue’s history and everyday culture. If time permits, visit Thuy Xuan Incense Village, known for its colorful traditional incense-making displays.

Travel south through Lang Co and across the scenic Hai Van Pass before continuing to Hoi An. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening walk along the riverside and through the atmospheric streets of the Ancient Town.

Cancellation by Customer
Should you need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing sent to us via fax or email. The following cancellation charges will be applied:
- More than 21 days prior to departure: The total of deposit paid to us (30% of the Tour value).
- 7- 21 days prior to departure: 50% on total value of the trip charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
- Within 1-6 days prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
- No-Show: 100% on total charged.
Note: Insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation.
Cancellation of domestic or international flights:
If the cancellation occurs after a deposit was paid to the Airlines, a cancellation fees, of 25 – 40 % of the airfare for the domestic flight and USD30 – 50/pax for the international flight, is required (according to the policy of the Airlines).
Unused services:
No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.
